‘YOU MUST PREPARE WELL,GET BETTER SPONSORS’ — SRC PRESIDENT TELLS INCOMING ADMINISTRATION

 Ifeoluwa Opatola, the president of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Students’ Representative Council (SRC), has warned that the incoming administration mu t begin its preparation in 2025.  The SRC election process at the NIJ allows class governor of Higher National Diploma (HND) to succeed as president of the council.  The president is allowed to select his members of team ahead of the next session.  Opatola also advised that the administration must ensure that they have better sponsors   “I think the next administration should do everything in their capacity better. Start their planning early and look forward to better sponsors too,” she said.

 WE DELIVERED BEST CULTURAL DAY IN NIJ HISTORY, SAYS SRC  Emmanuel Ashemiriogwa, the member of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Students’ Representative Council (SRC), has described the 2025 Students’ Week as best in history. The six-day event began on July 7 and ended on July 12 hosting different activities like Career Day, Sports Day, NIJ’s Got Talent, Pageantry, and Cultutral Day.  Ashemiriogwa, who was the chairman planning committee of the Career Day, described the Cultural Day, tagged Ojude NIJ, as the best in the school so far.  The final year student said there were a high expections from the public on the day and “we delivered the best”.  “Each day was a success in its own right.
